Virat and Anushka Finally Get Married


 
After a lot of mystery regarding the wedding date, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma finally tied the knot on Monday, December 11. The couple got married under tight security that barred media from sneaking any picture from the event, and finally, the first picture of the duo as a married couple have been released with the official announcement. Kohli and Sharma got married at a posh venue in Tuscany, Italy, as very few close friends and family members witnessed the ceremony.

The Hindu ceremony was attended by close family and a few friends. The two met for the first time during an advertisement shoot and had a courtship of over three years before getting married. They had made numerous public appearances, the most recent being at Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge’s wedding reception. Here are Kohli and Anushka’s tweets to announce their wedding.
 
They will host a reception in Delhi for relatives on 21 December, followed by a celebration in Mumbai on 26 December to be attended by Bollywood stars and cricketers, they said.

After the celebrations in India, the couple will travel to South Africa where Mr Kohli will prepare for India's forthcoming tour there which is taking place early next year.
 
 

Interestingly, this is not the first instance of an India cricketer marrying a Bollywood celebrity. Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi married Sharmila Tagore when he was India's Test captain in the late 1960s. Soon as news of their weddung spread the two of them several Bollywood biggies took to Twitter to express their happiness and congratulate the newly married ciuple.

Blast From The Past - Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan Were Background Dancers In A Jeetendra-Kimi Katkar Song by Suhel Johar

  Many are aware of the fact that before making it big as an actor, Arshad Warsi was a choreographer but not many know that he was a background dancer to Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar in this 1989 action film, Aag Se Khelenge . In fact, not just Arshad Warsi, the song, Help Me from Aag Se Khelenge, also featured director/host Sajid Khan, choreographer Longinus Fernandes aka Longi and DJ Akbar Sami. Music for the song was composed by RD Burman and it was written by Anand Bakshi. Its not easy to recognise Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan in this song which was choreographed by Chinni Prakash.
