Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Is One Of The Most Technically Efficient Indian Film To Grace The Indian Cinemas. A Near Perfect Film. Two years ago, director SS Rajamouli did not just make a film but a world of its own. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has received huge appreciations from everyone. Vinod Khanna R.I.P.

Here are a few pictures of the funeral of Vinod Khanna.   Vinod Khanna, one of Indian cinema’s most enigmatic actors, passed away earlier in the morning today (Thursday, 27 April, 2007) at the age of 70. He was suffering from advanced bladder cancer. The film fraternity came together to mourn his loss. As a mark of respect to the film legend, many rescheduled and even cancelled their important work commitments. Amitabh Bachchan reportedly rushed to Vinod Khanna’s family’s side after hearing the news of his death cancelling all his interviews that were lined up for his film Sarkar Raj. Karan Johar on his part cancelled his Baahubali 2 premiere as mark of respect. Vinod Khanna's last rites were held at the Worli crematorium in Mumbai from 4:30 PM onwards. If Akira Was Insipid Then Noor Is Stupid.   Noor , starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead titular role and directed by Sunhil Sippy, is a film based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz’s novel Karachi, You're Killing Me! The film follows journalist Noor’s misadventures and love life as she navigates her way through Mumbai. If her Akira was insipid then Noor can be described as simply stupid. 28 year old Noor Roy Chaudhary (Sonakshi Sinha) lives with her widowed father. Her two close friends Zara Patel (Shibani Dandekar) and Saad (Kanan Gill) are very dear to her. Noor is a self obsessed journalist, she works for a TV news channel. Maatr Is A Trite Vengeance Drama That Has Nothing New To Offer.   Maatr marks the return of veteran actress Raveena Tandon to the big screen after 11 years in a major role. She was last seen in a cameo appearance in Bombay Velvet .   Directed by Ashtar Syed the film highlights the issue of increasing violence against women in the country.   Vidya Chauhan (Raveena Tandon) is a school teacher based in Delhi. After getting late at her daughter, Tia’s (Alisha Khan) annual function, Vidya is driving home with her daughter. To avoid a traffic jam, she takes a different route and is further hit by a car that’s been following her. Apurva Malik (Madhur Mittal), a rich spoilt lad and CM’s son, along with his goons gang rape Vidya and Tia. Soon after, they kill Tia and leave her body on the city highway. Her husband (Rushad Rana) blames her for it. In an already strained relationship, Vidya separates from her husband who is unsupportive and unsympathetic to her plight. Jayan

Recipe - Jhatpat Chicken Stew by Suhel Johar

Ingredients: 300 gms Boneless Chicken cubes 3 medium sized chopped Onions 2 large diced Tomatoes 2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste 1 big Bay leaf 10 Black Pepper corns 7 Cloves 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 7 big Green Chillies 4 teaspoon vegetable Oil 1 teaspoon Salt 1 cup Water 5-6 stems of Coriander leaves Method: Boil the chicken in a pressure cooker along with the onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, turmeric powder, cloves, black pepper corn, bay leaf. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds to it. As the cumin seeds start to crackle. Add the tadka to the chicken. Garnish the stew with Coriander leaves and serve hot with Steamed Rice or Parathas or Naan.

Recipe - Hari Mirch Chicken Kheema by Suhel Johar

Ingredients: 250 gms Chicken mince 3  tbsp.Ginger Garlic paste salt to taste 2  tbsp. Yogurt 2  tbsp. ground Black Pepper 1  tbsp. Chili powder 3  large Green Chillies 2  inch Ginger   Method: Pour oil into a pan and turn the heat on high. Add the ginger and garlic paste and keep stirring until it turns a little brown. Add in the chicken mince and let it cook until the mince is tender. Add in the salt, ground black pepper and chilli powder. Keep stirring it until some water is absorbed then add in the yogurt. Keep stirring it until almost all liquid is absorbed then add the green chilies (sliced). Stir for about another 3-5 more min. Garnish it with ginger juliennes and serve with Pav or Tandoory Roti

Ingredients: 500 gms. Potatoes, peeled and cut into medium sized pieces. 2  Onions sliced into thin rings 1  tsp. Ginger grated 1  tsp. Garlic finely crushed 1/2 tbsp. Coriander finely chopped 1  tsp. Ajwain or Carom seeds 3/4 cup Gram flour/ Besan 1  tsp. Red Chilli powder 1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp. tandoori masala 1/2 tsp. Garam masala 1  Anardana or dry Pomegranate seeds powder Salt to taste 2  tbsp. oil   Method: Make a thick mixture of flour, salt, ginger, garlic, turmeric, ajwain and Garam masala. Sprinkle 2-3 tbsp. water. Add 1/2 tbsp. oil, mix well. Use 2 tbsp. mixture to marinate onions, and rest to marinate aloo/potato  pieces. Marinate aloo for 10 minutes. Either shallow fry pieces aloo pieces or grill on a bar-b-que skewer or grill mesh till crisp and brown. Heat remaining oil, add onions, saute till light brown. Add marinate paste, stir well and cook. When dry add fried potatoes, chilli, anardana powder, salt. Toss well. Garnish wi

Begum Jaan Is Flawed But Watchable.   Begum Jaan is the Hindi remake of National Award winning director Srijit Mukherji's Bengali film Raj Kahini , telling the story of a brothel madam through whose home the newly-drawn border line between India and East Pakistan (Bengal) runs. Begum Jaan , however, shifts the story from Bengal to Punjab. The characters are Punjabi, rather than Bengali, but the sentiment remains the same, the milieu remains the same. Although this line was going to be in the middle of the brothel of Begum Jaan (Vidya Balan) and the officer came to ask Begum Jaan to leave the brothel.
