Bharti Singh And Aashka Goradia To Tie The Knot On The Same Day, December 3, 2017! - by Suhel Johar



It’s not an easy choice, for sure. The who’s who of the Television world have been invited. There are two cards on the table, coincidentally both parties in question have chosen the same date to solemnise and celebrate. We are talking about TV celebs Bharti and Aashka’s wedding, while one is in Ahmadabad(Aashka Goradia-Brent Goble), the other is in Goa(Bharti Singh-Harsh Limbachiyaa).
The crowd will naturally get divided. There will be some people who will have to make the difficult choice of attending one wedding at the cost of missing the other.

Interestingly, Bharti and Harsh were initially confused about their wedding date between Nov 29, Dec 1 and 3 – but they finally zeroed down Dec 3. Once Dec 3 was decided the couple went to Amritsar, Golden Temple to share the auspicious date with their babaji. He was the first one to know and give them blessings. It is also being reported that Bharti and Harsh will not allow media coverage of their wedding as they have signed up with a production house to convert their wedding into a proper web series.

Bharti’s wedding trousseau is ready too, which is designed by veteran designer Neeta Lulla. The handpicked theme for the costumes is fusion and Bharti will resemble the contemporary bride since it’s a destination wedding. Reportedly, grandeur, colour and quirk are seamlessly blended with culture and heritage in an Indian wedding. For Bharti’s reception ceremony, Neeta has designed a gown which is a royal blue affair with diamond embroidery, personifying beauty. We also know that Bharti will soon reveal her wedding lehenga to the media.


The comedienne has also sent out the wedding cards to many celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, among others and her near and dear ones from the industry.

Aashka had recently shared pictures of her wedding card with the media. Aashka and Brent's love story is one of the most talked about ones. They are one of the most lovey-dovey couples of TV industry just like a fairy tale.

Incidentally, Aashka will have two weddings. One will be the traditional Indian wedding and also a White one. Aashka and Brent have decided to not only have a traditional Indian wedding but the duo will also be having a White wedding. The functions will begin with the white wedding, after which the next day there will be a mehendi ceremony and then sangeet and then the following day there will be a traditional Indian wedding.

Another thing which is going to become an inspiration for all the to-be-brides is that Aashka will transform into her mother-in-law on her D-Day, wearing the white gown her mother-in-law wore 39 years ago.
We’re sure both Aashka and Bharti couldn’t have done much to avoid the clash... if it was not all about the mahurat!

Blast From The Past - Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan Were Background Dancers In A Jeetendra-Kimi Katkar Song by Suhel Johar

  Many are aware of the fact that before making it big as an actor, Arshad Warsi was a choreographer but not many know that he was a background dancer to Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar in this 1989 action film, Aag Se Khelenge . In fact, not just Arshad Warsi, the song, Help Me from Aag Se Khelenge, also featured director/host Sajid Khan, choreographer Longinus Fernandes aka Longi and DJ Akbar Sami. Music for the song was composed by RD Burman and it was written by Anand Bakshi. Its not easy to recognise Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan in this song which was choreographed by Chinni Prakash.
