Zero Is The Title Of Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma And Katrina Kaif's Next, Watch Teaser!

Shah Rukh Khan had promised to give his fans the best New Year gift, and it has been called Zero. Surprised? Well, SRK kept his words and took to Twitter exactly at 5 pm today (Jan 1, 2018) to announce the title of his next film, Zero. This is the actor’s first collaboration with the filmmaker Anand L Rai. The title was revealed through a teaser which was essentially a throwback to the 80s giving the perfect feel of retro cinema complete with the grand sets and glazing lights. The teaser shows the megastar in a never-seen-before avatar, as the actor prances and jumps around throughout the one-minute-long teaser. SRK plays a ‘dwarf’ or a midget in the much-awaited film.



Singing Mohammed Rafi’s classic song Iss Deewane Dilne Kya Jadoo Chalaya, SRK jumps around a huge room in three avatars flaunting boxers-vest, a tuxedo, and casual wear. The teaser opens with a number of adjectives describing King Khan’s character. Some of these words used in the teaser are, ‘Pagal’, ‘Mental’, ‘Shaayar’, and ‘Dhokebaaz’.
 

The actor had posted the teaser with the caption, “टिकटें लिए बैठें हैं लोग मेरी ज़िंदगी की, तमाशा भी पूरा होना चाहिए! “(Ticket liye baithe hain log meri zindagi ki, tamasha bhi hona chahiye which when translated into English means People have bought tickets to watch my life, so there must be some drama)’’. As promised, here’s the title of @aanandlrai ‘s film. @AnushkaSharma #KatrinaKaif @RedChilliesEnt @cypplOfficial #2ZERO18.”

The film, releasing on December 21, also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, but the teaser does not divulge anything about their roles. The actors had last featured together in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Anushka, who is currently enjoying her holiday with husband Virat Kohli in South Africa, also shared the teaser on her Twitter page with the caption, “New year ki raat waali party toh ho gayi, par #2ZERO18 ki party toh aaj se shuru hui hai. Dekhiye Zero. @iamsrk @aanandlrai #KatrinaKaif @RedChilliesEnt @cypplOfficial.”

Shah Rukh Khan had revealed the title of his 2017 release Jab Harry Met Sejal in a similar fashion, after keeping fans on their toes for days. SRK, his co-star Anushka Sharma and Salman Khan had got into a conversation on Twitter during the announcement of its title leaving the excitement soaring. This time too, King Khan had a sweet Twitter conversation with Anushka and Aanand before revealing the title.

Blast From The Past - Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan Were Background Dancers In A Jeetendra-Kimi Katkar Song by Suhel Johar

  Many are aware of the fact that before making it big as an actor, Arshad Warsi was a choreographer but not many know that he was a background dancer to Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar in this 1989 action film, Aag Se Khelenge . In fact, not just Arshad Warsi, the song, Help Me from Aag Se Khelenge, also featured director/host Sajid Khan, choreographer Longinus Fernandes aka Longi and DJ Akbar Sami. Music for the song was composed by RD Burman and it was written by Anand Bakshi. Its not easy to recognise Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan in this song which was choreographed by Chinni Prakash.
