Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana - Releases in cinemas on 10th November, 2017.

Rajkummar Rao is at an all-time career high. He has had a terrific year with Trapped and Bareilly Ki Barfi, both winning him critical acclaim. It seems the actor is in no mood to stop and continues to  win widespread acclaim for his terrific turn in Newton, India's official entry to the Oscar's this year. Rajkummar Rao has become the undisputed toast of the town. The trailer of his next, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana opposite Kriti Kharbanda is out and it carries some shades of Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Like the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari film, director Ratnaa Sinhaa’s Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is set in a town in Uttar Pradesh, as can be gauged from the tone of Rajkummar and Kriti Kharbanda’s characters' accents.

Aarti Shukla's (Kriti Kharbanda) parents are struggling to find a suitable groom for their daughter. The search ends with Mishra (Rajkummar) and the duo hit it off instantly.

The pair seems to be made in heaven and a wedding date is set. Here on comes the surprise as Aarti runs away on their wedding day, leaving Mishra distraught. The couple meets again and now Mishra is hell bent on avenging his humiliation. Everything’s fair in love and war, he says. After showering love, he's out to wage war against Aarti.
