Sara Ali Khan's First Look Pictures From Kedarnath Remind You of Young Amrita Singh – by Suhel Johar

After wrapping the shoot of the film at Kedarnath Temple, Team Kedarnath took to social media to share the first look of the debutante Sara Ali Khan. She looks awesome in the two photographs of her debut film Kedarnath that have been officially shared by the film's team as part of promotional material. The photos of Sara will indeed make you do a double take for her unmissable and striking resemblance to her mother, actress Amrita Singh. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara’s debut has been a part of rumour mills for the longest time. After initial reports claiming Karan Johar will launch her, the youngster signed Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

Instead of an ultra-glamorous role to kick off her career, Sara has decided to don traditional outfits for her character in the love story. The 24-year-old actor can be seen wearing a floral salwar-kameez with bright blue umbrella on a sunny day in the green mountains of Uttarakhand's Kedarnath.

Sara reportedly plays a rich tourist who visits the temple, and from the first look we can say that she looks convincing in her character. It is hard to take eyes off Sara in her desi avatar, complete with a nose ring.

Her character then reportedly falls in love with Sushant's character, who plays a 'pithoo' (a local guide), the person who carries the tourists to the temple on his back.

 

For the first schedule of Kedarnath, the director had zeroed in on locations like the Triyuginarayan Temple, Akhand Dhuni Temple and the virgin regions of the Chopta forests - a glimpse of the scenic locale is visible in the released pictures.

Kedarnath is scheduled for a June 2018 release.
