Preview - Phullu by Suhel Johar

Phullu Is An Amazing Social Satire Film.

Phullu is one of the few films that I have shortlisted to see in 2017. A film that is small in budget but big on merits and promises to be an interesting and amazing film.  Starring Sharib Hashmi (of Filmistaan and Jab Tak Hai Jaan fame), Phullu, which raises women health issues, has been produced by Anmol Kapoor and directed by Abhishek Saxena. A social satire the film has been passed with a UA certitficate by the censor board without any cuts and is being readied for an early release.

Sharib Hashmi (Phullu) as the protagonist asks questions like why sanitary pads are not used by the women? Why they use clothes, which later leads to infection? A problem that exists in a big way in smaller towns and rural India.
The film aims to educate people about why sanitary napkins are necessary and at the same time keeps its audience entertained so that it does not sound preachy.
