Kapil Sharma Forced To Call Off Shoot Of His Show.
 
 
It has been reported that besides his teammates having deserted him, celebrities too gave him a thumbs- down. Kapil could not manage to get any celebrity to shoot for his show on Wednesday and the shoot had to be called off.

With no celebrities, no Sunil Grover/Chandan Prabhakar/Ali Asghar/Sugandha Mishra,  Kapil was left with no option but forcibly cancel the shoot of his popular tv show, The Kapil Sharma show on Wednesday. The last shoot happened on two days before with only Kiku Sharda and Rochelle who hardly matter in the scheme of things?

Mind you, he has a commitment to honour. He had asked Sony (broadcaster) for a break to shoot for his upcoming film Firangi. Sony had permitted him to shut the lights for a certain period- but not before he handed over a decent number of complete episodes to them.

But he now finds himself in a soup with hardly anybody around him. Ali Asghar (he has reportedly already signed up another show) and Sugandha Mishra have joined the strike to express solidarity. Ali and Sugandha did not report on the sets when Kapil shot with Taapsee Pannu-Manoj Bajpayee and Sunil Pal-Ahsaan Qureshi-Raju Shrivastav.

Coming back to the present status on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. Think of it, Kapil's problems are problems of his own making. He cannot blame anybody else other than himself. Alcohol and pride caused the destruction.

For the uninitiated, Kapil reportedly abused Sunil verbally and physically while the TKSS was returning from Australia after a successful tour. When the unpleasant spat happened, Kapil was in an inebriated state. He even insulted Kiku Sharda but Kiku decided to forgive and forget following Kapil’s apology to him.

He has often miffed his celebrity guests by making them wait for long hours before a shoot. One of the first few to speak of his high handed and unprofessional behaviour was the outspoken Kangana Ranaut. Most recently he made Vidya Balan wait for six hours who was there to promote her film Begum Jaan.

In the meanwhile, Navjot Sidhu is trying his best to strike a patch up between Kapil and Sunil but Sunil seems to be in no mood to calm down this time. 

So can Kapil undo his doing? Or will his next shoot also be cancelled? Time will tell.

Incidentally, the episode schedule for Saturday night this week will have team Naam Shabana (Manoj Bajpayee and Taapsee Punnu) on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, while the Sunday episode will be a special with stand up comedians Sunil Pal, Ehsaan Qureshi and Raju Shrivastav.

Blast From The Past - Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan Were Background Dancers In A Jeetendra-Kimi Katkar Song by Suhel Johar

  Many are aware of the fact that before making it big as an actor, Arshad Warsi was a choreographer but not many know that he was a background dancer to Jeetendra and Kimi Katkar in this 1989 action film, Aag Se Khelenge . In fact, not just Arshad Warsi, the song, Help Me from Aag Se Khelenge, also featured director/host Sajid Khan, choreographer Longinus Fernandes aka Longi and DJ Akbar Sami. Music for the song was composed by RD Burman and it was written by Anand Bakshi. Its not easy to recognise Arshad Warsi and Sajid Khan in this song which was choreographed by Chinni Prakash. Incidentally, it was Sajid Khan, who when he joined Twitter, had shared the video with his followers and had explained about it.
